WHAT YOU CAN USE FOR SORETHROAT

- Foreign body in the throat e.g., fish bone
What you may notice:
- Pain while swallowing
- Change in voice
- Redness in the throat with or without presence of whitish materials in the throat
- There may be headaches and fever
- There may be discrete swellings in the neck
What you can do
- Get plenty of rest
- Drink warm fluids
- Warm salt-water gaggle
- You may lick throat lozenges e.g. strepsils, dequadin
- You may use analgesics e.g. paracetamol, ibuprofen
- Antibiotics may help, visit a clinic for appropriate prescription
See your doctor especially if
- Your throat is red
- Your temperature is high
You have a new skin rash
