- Inability to eat
- Weight loss
What you can do
- Eat small meals regularly
- Drink liquids between meals, not during the meals
- Avoid greasy, oily foods. Dry crackers can help
- Take sip of clear fluids e.g. soft drinks, juice, tea etc.
- Visit your doctor
- Take antacids to reduce the heartburn
See your doctor if
- You are unable to drink
- You are having chest pain
- If the vomit is green or blood stained
- You feel very weak
