Factors that increase the likelihood of having pile include
- Straining
- Constipation
- Obesity
- Prolonged cough
- Lifting of heavy load
- Pregnancy
What you may notice include
- Protrusion from the anus
- Passage of bright red blood during stooling
- Pain during stooling
- Anal itching
What you can do
- Sitz bath
- Take diets rich in fibres, vegetables, and fruits
- Do not postpone the urge to stool
- Rectal anusol suppository can be inserted in the anus
- Liberal fluid intake; take at least 3 liters of fluid in a day.
