- In People who take alcohol
- In People with blocked nose e.g. from nasal discharge
- In Children with swellings in the throat e.g. enlarged tonsils or adenoids

What you can do
- Reduce your weight
- Avoid late night meals
- Sleep on your side rather than your back
- Avoid intake of alcohol before sleeping
- Get treated for nasal discharge if any
- Visit your doctor for necessary examination; some cases require sleep education, use of appliances or surgery.
