How to properly use a male condom

1. Check the condom, make sure it is not damaged or expired
2. Tear the condom with your hand, not your teeth or scissors
3. Put 2 drops of lubricant in the tip of the condom
4. Wear the condom at erection before insertion
5. With one hand, pinch the tip of the condom to expel air, use the other hand to roll the condom on the penis
6. Add lubricant to the outside of the condom
7. After intercourse, hold the base of the condom as you pull out of the woman
8. Dispose the used condom appropriately
9. Do not use a condom more than once
10. if you feel the condom has burst or dislodged during intercourse

    2. The woman should clean up, and use emergency contraception e.g. prostinol
